A charming tourist complex consisting of a castle and a country house in the hills of Perugia, surrounded by a large park of about 22 hectares, with several outbuildings.
The castle was built on the ruins of an ancient residence in the early 1800s in the English style. This imposing castle features two main towers: one circular and one square, situated at the far corners.
The ground floor features spacious halls with decorated wooden coffered ceilings; all of these rooms are used for the accommodation facility’s services, such as the breakfast room, dining room, banquet hall, and library.
At the entrance stands a monumental staircase made entirely of wood; here, the double-height ceiling is illuminated by a skylight with decorated glass.
On the first floor are 13 rooms with private bathrooms, one of which is located in one of the towers and spans two floors. The castle’s roof is accessible and can be used as a sun deck.
Near the castle and on its side sits the country house, featuring the typical architecture of Umbrian farmhouses with exposed stone walls. The country house consists of four floors, two of which are semi-basements, following the contour of the hill. On the second semi-basement level is a conference room; the remaining floors are divided into 18 rooms, with three mini-apartments on the top floor.
The two structures are surrounded by a large park with olive trees and centuries-old plants. At the entrance to the park, set back from the castle, stands the dueling hall—a rectangular building used as a reception hall. In the center of the park is the swimming pool, surrounded by olive trees and tall trees,
and not far from the country house stands the gardener’s house, a two-story building in typical Umbrian architectural style, divided into three mini-apartments.
